Afghan Kuchi Bracelet with Bells

A handmade anklet inspired by traditional Afghan tribal jewelry. The design rests on a solid, textile base, densely covered with zinc elements with a raw, slightly irregular texture. Woven brass links add a warm contrast, while distinctive bells create a rhythmic, vibrant composition.

Every detail has a distinctly handmade character – the metal surface is not perfectly smooth, and slight variations in the casting emphasize the authenticity of the craftsmanship. A row of tiny beads in an intense shade of red runs along the edge, breaking up the harshness of the silvery metal and adding energy to the jewelry.

The bracelet is designed to be worn on the ankle – massive, expressive, and with a strong visual presence. It gently jingles with every step, referencing the traditions of tribal dances and ceremonies. This is jewelry that isn't a background accessory, but a central element of the styling.

Because each piece is handmade, it may differ slightly from the others – in the arrangement of elements, minor irregularities, or the tone of the metal. These subtle differences are not a defect, but a natural characteristic of craftsmanship and proof that this is not industrial production.
