Balochi Bracelet - Rare Terminal
Balochi Bracelet - Rare Terminal
A bracelet of Balochi origin, originating from the regions inhabited by the Baloch people – the area of present-day southeastern Iran, western Pakistan, and the border region of Afghanistan. Jewelry from this cultural circle rarely appears on the market, primarily due to the insularity of the community and the limited scale of local craftsmanship.
An open, massive form, with a clearly shaped terminal and a single red accent (usually glass or amulet-like stone). The style is simple, focused on function and symbolism, not decoration. The lack of openwork and elaborate ornamentation is typical of Baloch jewelry, created with durability and everyday wear in mind.
Vintage condition: visible patina, abrasions, and signs of long-term use. The red detail is preserved, the construction is stable. A collector's item, particularly prized in the tribal, gypsy, tribal fusion, and ATS dance communities, where Balochi jewelry is considered authentic and difficult to obtain.
