Kuchi Tribal Anklet

A closed tribal Kuchi bracelet, made of brass and designed specifically to be worn on the leg, above the ankle. This type of jewelry served both decorative and ritual purposes, and was an element of women's attire, particularly visible in movement.

The closed design provided stability during walking and dancing. The form is massive, distinctly tribal, with ornamentation and details characteristic of Kuchi jewelry. The stage style is very clearly visible in tribal, ATS, and tribal fusion aesthetics.

Vintage condition: patina, abrasions, and natural signs of wear. A collector's bracelet, intended for those aware of its function as ankle jewelry. Keywords: Kuchi, ankle bracelet, anklet, tribal, nomads, vintage, Afghanistan.
