Afghan Tassel Hoop Earrings

Silver hoop earrings are classic jewelry worn by women in Afghanistan. The simple hoop shape was particularly popular among nomadic communities, ensuring durability and comfort in everyday life.

At the bottom of the hoop are decorative tassels made of several thin, twisted chains. Each chain ends with a small pendant in the form of a stylized leaf or teardrop. These elements move freely, creating a distinctive dynamism.

The hoops of the earrings are further embellished with a spiral braid of thin wire at the closure. This type of detail is often found in traditional Central Asian jewelry and serves both as a decorative element and as a structural element, strengthening the earring.

The natural patina of the silver and subtle traces of handiwork emphasize the authentic character of these earrings. The combination of a classic hoop shape with movable tassels gives the jewelry a distinct, ethnic style characteristic of traditional Afghan crafts.
