Traditional Afghan earrings handcrafted from brass with a silver-toned, naturally aged finish. Their monumental length and elaborate construction reflect the character of old ceremonial and tribal jewellery.

Numerous chains formed from irregular links descend from the large fastening wires. Their varied lengths create a dense moving cascade that sways visibly and produces a distinctive metallic sound.

The chains are finished with two types of pendants. Smaller elements feature a teardrop shape and raised ornamentation, while the large triangular plaques are covered with embossed geometric and floral patterns.

The earrings are heavy and intended primarily for brief wear, ceremonial dress, stage styling or an ethnic jewellery collection. Patina, slight deformation and differences between individual pendants are natural results of handcrafting.
