Afghan earrings with red and green glass

Earrings crafted in the spirit of traditional Afghan jewelry craftsmanship, combining raw symbolism with vibrant colors. The form is based on a vertical composition with a decorative conical detail and a three-stone finial – a central red stone complemented by smaller glass stones in shades of green and red.

The upper section of the piece features an embossed, round disc with a convex cone, which in tribal culture often symbolized strength, protection, and vigilance. The spiral wire wrapping around the axis adds technical precision while simultaneously strengthening the entire design.

The lower section of the earrings is set in a classic teardrop shape, containing faceted red glass. Below, two smaller stones in green and red have been added – this arrangement creates a contrast that draws the eye and gives the jewelry a ritual character.

This unique tribal jewelry piece – expressive yet understated, perfect both as a collector's item and as an original addition to contemporary styling. The preserved patina and traces of time enhance the authenticity of this pair.
