Nomadic Dome Leaves
Nomadic Dome Leaves
The design of these earrings is based on a small metal dome, from which radiate tiny pendants made of thin metal plates. Each element resembles a small leaf or teardrop, attached to a short wire loop. The whole creates a delicate, spreading form resembling a fan.
The upper part of the earrings is finished with a simple metal hook and a small decorative element in the form of a ball with an ornament. This small detail serves a decorative purpose and also serves as a link between the clasp and the pendant.
The pendant plates are thin and slightly irregular, emphasizing the handmade nature. When the head is moved, the elements gently move, reflecting light and creating the subtle metallic movement characteristic of ethnic jewelry.
Earrings of this type appear in jewelry worn by communities living in regions of Afghanistan and Central Asia. The movable metal elements not only decorated the pieces but also gave them a dynamic character, which is also clearly visible in this pair of earrings.
