Silver Sun Earrings

Silver closed-hoop earrings are classic jewelry worn by women in Afghanistan. Their design is based on a simple circle of hand-formed silver wire, enhanced with decorative elements at the bottom.

The central element of the composition is formed by small rosettes with a radiant texture resembling a stylized sun. This motif often appears in traditional jewelry from the region and serves both decorative and symbolic purposes.

Additional leaf- or petal-shaped elements are placed on the sides, giving the earrings a more organic character. The entire piece is connected by a spiral braid of thin wire, typical of handmade tribal jewelry.

The natural patina of the silver and subtle traces of handwork emphasize the authentic, antique character of these earrings. The combination of the simple hoop and the decorative rosettes creates jewelry with a distinctly ethnic, traditional style.
