The central element is a rectangular panel with a distinct, massive frame. The surface is densely filled with colored glass in intense shades of red, green, and deep blue. Two larger green fields flank the crescent motif in the center, giving the composition a distinct, symbolic character. The ornamentation is dense, almost mosaic-like, with no empty spaces.

The lower edge of the panel is decorated with long chains terminating in tiny metal discs. When moved, they move freely, producing a characteristic, soft sound. This element is not accidental decoration – movement and sound are an integral part of the aesthetic of tribal jewelry from southern Afghanistan.

The upper section is formed by a band of bright turquoise beads interspersed with coins with legible inscriptions. The coins add rhythm and an additional layer of history to the design. The entire piece is mounted on a black textile cord, allowing the necklace to fit snugly around the neck.

The metal has a natural patina, with minor abrasions and irregularities typical of handcrafted work. The colored glass has retained its intensity, though variations in the setting are visible in places, confirming the handmade nature of the piece. This is a distinctive, ceremonial piece, far removed from contemporary, simplified interpretations of ethnic style.
