The rectangular panel, made of a silver alloy, is adorned with a central carnelian cabochon in a warm, honey-red hue. The stone is set within raised, hand-formed granulations that create a rhythmic, almost architectural composition. Four smaller carnelians in the corners complete the arrangement and lend it cohesion.

The metal surface has a natural patina, without aggressive polishing. Minor irregularities, soldering marks, and subtle differences in texture are visible – these are the hallmarks of handcrafted work, not mass production. The form is compact and proportional, allowing the panel to retain its distinctive character despite its small size.

The lower edge is finished with four movable chain tassels, topped with balls and teardrop-shaped plates. When moved, they produce a delicate, metallic sound, typical of traditional ornaments from the region. The sides are connected to the chain via hand-forged, irregularly shaped links.

Kashmiri panels of this type served both decorative and symbolic purposes. In Central Asian cultures, carnelian was sometimes perceived as a stone of strength and protection. Today, it remains primarily a distinctive, collectible accent – ​​subtle, but far removed from contemporary, minimalist jewelry.
