Brown Pashtun Embroidered Shawl

A natural, earthy shade of brown creates a calm and versatile base. Symmetrical, embroidered rosettes are arranged on the surface – some in light, cream thread, others in a more elaborate, multi-colored composition with accents of red and green. The pattern is orderly and rhythmic.

The scarf is embroidered with dense thread, creating a distinct, slightly convex structure. The light motifs subtly contrast with the brown background, while the colorful rosettes give the whole a more ethnic, Pakistani character. This aesthetic is found in traditional fabrics from the Pashtun regions.

The material is soft, quite thick, and drapes well. The embroidered scarf works well as an everyday shoulder scarf, a head covering, or as part of a Middle Eastern-inspired outfit. The brown color scheme is practical and easy to pair with beige, black, or olive.

The ends are finished with long, twisted fringes in the same shade of brown. The fringes are distinct and dense, emphasizing the wrap's traditional textile character and its handcrafted feel.
