Kuchi Belt – Coin Jingle

This Afghan Kuchi tribal belt is built on a sturdy canvas base and finished with layered trims, embroidery, and beadwork. The bold pink field, cooled down with silver bands and bright blue edging, delivers a raw “tribal glam” look—expressive, handmade, and far from factory-perfect.

The focal point is a row of genuine rupee coins, attached to swing freely and react to every step. They catch the light and add that sharp metallic click dancers love in ATS/FCBD®-style and tribal fusion—an instant stage effect even with a minimal costume.

Along the lower edge you get a dense fringe of tiny bells and metal drops, adding extra rhythm, shimmer, and sound—especially during hip work. Blue bead edging defines the silhouette, while the hand-beaded round rosettes at the ends bring a traditional finishing touch.

With tie cords, the belt is easy to adjust and works worn on the hips, at the waist, or layered over skirts and scarves. This is a vintage/older handmade piece, so natural signs of age may appear—these are part of its authenticity and character. Also perfect for ethnic, festival, and theatrical styling.
