Kuchi Belt – Color & Coins

This Afghan Kuchi tribal belt is built on a textile base and richly layered with trims, metallic ribbon, and hand bead embroidery. Bright pink combined with yellow, green, and purple accents creates the unmistakable nomadic color rhythm. It is a wearable tribal object, not a decorative imitation.

Two distinct rows of genuine rupee coins run along the belt, attached to move freely and react to motion. Above them sits a line of heavy metal beads and small bells, adding depth to the sound. The entire structure catches light and produces a metallic resonance appreciated in ATS/FCBD®-style and tribal fusion performances.

Vibrant side rosettes featuring gold thread and multicolored yarn frame the piece and add a strong decorative accent. Yellow bead edging defines the silhouette and highlights the handcrafted nature of the belt.

Tie cords allow adjustable sizing and versatile wear at the hips or waist, layered over skirts and scarves. This is an older/vintage handmade piece and may show natural signs of age consistent with authentic use.
