Oval with honey – yellow chalcedony in an old setting

The milky, sunny hue is provided by classic chalcedony – also known as yellow agate. The smooth cabochon has a soft sheen, without any flash or glitter.

The wide silver coffer (approximately 80%) has a natural patina and raw edges. The serrated crown holds the stone securely; tool marks are visible – this is the charm of handmade craftsmanship.

The Middle Eastern atmosphere is felt in the proportions and simplicity of the form. This signet ring favors linen, leather, and neutral colors – it achieves its work with a single accent.

For the record: chalcedony is also sometimes described as yellow agate or a "honey" stone. In this setting, it looks simply noble.
