Pashtun Septum – Classic Rosettes

Pashtun septum ornaments, traditional nose rings originating from Afghanistan and the Pakistan border regions. The pieces shown here represent compact, classic rosette forms commonly worn as everyday tribal nose jewelry.

Each piece is handcrafted from brass and features a centrally set blue decorative element. These are not natural stones but colored beads made of early composite material or synthetic mass, traditionally used for durability and strong visual contrast.

The designs vary in detail: some feature serrated outer edges, others smoother rims or subtle openwork elements. Natural patina, surface wear, and hand-crafted irregularities are present and consistent with age and traditional production methods.

The items shown in the photos are numbered 1–5. Customers may select a specific number when ordering. If no selection is provided, one piece will be chosen at random from the available examples.
