Jewelry from Central Asia often tells the story of everyday life – work, travel, and celebrations. These long earrings clearly capture this world. The design is composed of numerous elongated beads resembling rice grains, strung in cascading strands. They create a delicate, openwork form reminiscent of a miniature net or a woven fan.

Small glass beads in vibrant colors – red, green, yellow, and blue – appear between the bright beads. This contrast is characteristic of jewelry from the regions of Uzbekistan, where vibrant colors are seen as symbols of energy and joy of life. The lower ends of the earrings are adorned with small pompoms made of dyed wool, lending the piece a softness and movement.
