Dense Kuchi Chain with Metal Discs

An authentic tribal chain originating from the regions of Afghanistan, associated with the nomadic Kuchi culture. Crafted from metal with a warm, raw tone and natural patina developed through age and use.

This version is distinguished by its unusually dense and wide arrangement of pendants. Flat metal discs are positioned very close to one another, creating a bold, rhythmic visual effect. When in motion, the elements move freely and produce a characteristic dry metallic sound typical of functional tribal adornments.

Chains of this type were traditionally used as hip ornaments, ceremonial costume elements, harness decorations, or layered tribal accessories. Their form combined decoration with function, as sound signaled movement and presence within nomadic communities.

The price applies to 10 cm of running chain length. One unit equals 10 cm; purchasing multiple units results in one continuous section (e.g. 3 units = 30 cm). Due to the handcrafted nature and irregular placement of pendants, individual sections may vary slightly from the images shown. Items sold by running length are non-returnable.
