Kuchi Tribal Chain with Discs and Plates

Traditional tribal chain created by Kuchi nomads from the regions of Afghanistan and the Afghan–Pakistani borderlands. Made of light silver-toned metal with a natural patina, featuring a hand-formed link structure with freely hanging disc and plate pendants.

The flat discs and small metal plates move independently along the chain, producing a subtle metallic sound when worn or moved. Such chains were traditionally used as garment ornaments, belt decorations, harness elements or ceremonial accessories, combining decorative and symbolic functions.

Each section of the chain is unique – the arrangement, shape and number of pendants may vary. Irregularity, hand-forged details and visible signs of age are inherent features of authentic tribal craftsmanship and not considered defects.

The price applies to 10 cm of running chain. Purchasing multiple units results in one continuous length (e.g. 3 units = 30 cm). Suitable for tribal jewelry making, costume design, stage styling or as a collectible ethnographic element.
