Small Rupees Without Stone – Raw Pendants

The set includes small coins originating primarily from Pakistan and neighboring countries in the region. Visible are characteristic calligraphy in Urdu and Persian, floral wreaths, a crescent moon with a star, and in some pieces, simple geometric symbols. The relief can be distinct or worn – this is a result of actual circulation, not stylization.

The coins have been re-adapted by soldering brass sleeves. The pendants are devoid of stones, allowing all attention to be focused on the original numismatic content: denominations, dates according to the Islamic calendar, and national emblems. Some pieces have subtle discoloration and patina, and in some places, traces of hand-soldering are visible.

The metal color ranges from a light silver tone to warmer, slightly muted shades with a natural tarnish. The brass handles contrast with the coins' cool metal, giving them a utilitarian, artisanal character. This isn't jewelry precision, but a raw adaptation of an everyday object into a piece of jewelry.

Such pendants functioned as components of necklaces, tribal belts, and tribal ornaments. Their small size allows for combining several coins in a single composition or using a single piece as a minimalist accent. The price is for one piece, selected randomly from the lot.
