Kuchi Light Cascade of Bells

The form is elongated and more delicate than that of massive tribal necklaces, but without losing its character. The chain is adorned with a dense row of small metal bells, creating a subtle, rhythmic line around the neck. The overall structure remains lightweight, allowing the necklace to drape well.

Small settings with red and green glass are placed along the sides. The intense colors contrast with the muted patina of the metal and give the composition a nomadic pulse typical of Kuchi jewelry. The elements are hand-assembled, without the jewelry-like symmetry typical of industrial production.

The central pendant consists of two round discs with red glass, from below which descend a cascade of chains terminating in plates and small discs. Movement is key here – each step causes the elements to vibrate, producing a soft, metallic sound.

This piece represents a lighter version of traditional Kuchi jewelry – more utilitarian, still decorative, but more comfortable for everyday wear. It looks best against a simple background, where its structure and detail can stand out without competition.
