This silver ring, made in Multan, represents a classic type of regional jewellery decorated with powdered glass embedded in the metal surface. The band is covered with a band of floral ornamentation in the colour scheme characteristic of this centre: deep cobalt, turquoise and warm yellow. The arrangement of the decoration creates a repetitive rhythm of floral motifs running around the entire ring.

The ring’s form is further enhanced by a side projection ending in a small decorative element, typical of many pieces produced in the workshops of Multan. This detail serves to identify the regional origin of the item and constitutes a characteristic structural feature of this group of rings.

The surface of the silver bears clear signs of wear, particularly visible on the back of the band, where the ornamentation has been partially worn away.
