Antique Nose Studs – Turquoise, 19th Century

Antique nose studs dating back to the 19th century, hand-crafted using traditional jewelry techniques typical of the Middle East and Central Asia. Each piece was made individually, without industrial molds, which is evident in the irregular details, varied ornamentation, and natural metal patina.

The studs are set with natural turquoise stones placed at the center. The stones differ in color tone, saturation, and structure, confirming their natural origin. The settings take the form of small rosettes, discs, or sun-like motifs, often decorated with pronounced relief and hand-applied granulation.

These are small pieces, approximately 1.5 cm in diameter, designed for classic nose piercings. Jewelry of this type was worn both daily and on special occasions, often carrying decorative, cultural, or symbolic significance related to status or regional identity.

This listing offers individual pieces sold within one collective offer. Each nose stud is unique and marked with an individual number shown in the photographs. You may specify the chosen number when ordering; otherwise, a randomly selected piece will be sent.
