Traditional Afghan earrings handcrafted from brass with a silver-toned, naturally aged surface. Their long, richly constructed form and considerable weight reflect the character of authentic ceremonial jewellery.

A dense cascade of chains formed from irregular links descends from the large fastening wires. Dark red and amber-coloured glass beads are incorporated into the composition, adding warmth and contrast to the raw metal.

The lower section features moving teardrop ornaments and large triangular plaques covered with embossed floral patterns. All elements sway freely and produce a distinctive metallic sound, creating a strong visual and acoustic effect.

The earrings are very heavy and intended primarily for brief wear, traditional dress, stage styling or collecting. Visible black threads, patina, uneven surfaces and differences between individual details form part of the preserved handmade construction.
