Bukharai Necklace with Heart

The focal point of the composition is a large, heart-shaped glass in an intense shade of red, with a decorative, floral relief. It is surrounded by a metal, openwork setting with small, light blue accents that soften the fiery red. The heart motif isn't sentimental here – it has a talismanic, protective character, present in traditional Central Asian jewelry.

The chain is composed of repeating, floral segments set with pink and turquoise glass. The colors are clear, contrasting, and typical of the region – strong hues were intended to attract the eye and emphasize the owner's status. The design is long, expressive, and clearly ceremonial.

The lower part of the pendant is enriched with freely falling beads in shades of blue, green, and red. The moving elements react to every step, bringing lightness to the rich form. This detail enlivens the whole and gives it an almost theatrical character.

The item bears traces of handicraft – subtle differences in the glass setting, irregularities in the metal, and a characteristic patina. This is not contemporary, industrial jewelry, but an expression of Bukhara's craft tradition. For those seeking an authentic, ethnic accent with a strong, historical pedigree.
