Small coins of the region with a green faceted stone

The set shown here includes small circulation coins from the border region of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran. Some pieces feature the recognizable crescent and star characteristic of Pakistan, while others feature calligraphy and classic floral wreaths surrounding the denomination. The relief is legible, though occasionally worn due to actual circulation, confirming the coins' authenticity.

Each coin has been repurposed by soldering a brass sleeve and setting a central stone. The stones are round or slightly polygonal, with distinct facets. The color is a deep green—ranging from dark bottle green to a more saturated emerald green. The facets reflect light in specific areas, giving the stones a distinctive character.

The settings are made of brass with a warm, golden tone that contrasts with the coins' cool, silvery metal. The surface shows natural signs of wear: patina, abrasions, local discoloration, and traces of hand soldering. Some pieces show slight tarnish at the joints—typical of older metal alloys.

These pendants were part of tribal jewelry and costume decorations in the region—used in necklaces, tribal belts, and as individual decorative accents. Their compact size allows for combining several pieces into a single composition. The price is for one coin, selected randomly from the lot.
