Kuchi Opera with Rupees

A very long opera-style model, sculpting the silhouette with a vertical line and a strong central accent. The structure is based on a thick cord woven with intensely colored wool in shades of green, pink, purple, yellow, and orange. Color isn't an addition—it's the foundation of this composition.

Large, raw metal beads and authentic Afghan rupees appear between the segments, their matte surface contrasting with the soft texture of the fiber. The metal bears the marks of time, which only enhances the piece's antique character. This is jewelry that doesn't pretend to be new—it has a history of its own.

The central panel pendant catches the eye with its abundance of colored glass beads set in a dense, ornamental frame. The composition resembles a miniature mosaic dominated by reds, greens, and purples. The lower edge is finished with brass tassels and small chain elements that move and produce a subtle sound.

This model is definitely not discreet. It looks best in minimalist styles, where its tribal energy can fully resonate. Collectible, stage-worthy, and expressive jewelry – for those conscious of the power of detail and cultural context.
