Large Kuchi Necklace with Panel and Coins

The design is elaborate and visually heavy. The string is formed by alternating green glass beads and large, grooved brass beads in the Baloch style. Authentic coins appear between them, introducing rhythm and historical context. The whole is not minimalist – this is jewelry built in layers, with the clear intention of dominating the styling.

The central panel immediately attracts attention. The rectangular form is filled with red cabochons and small, multi-colored glass set in metal cassettes. The composition is symmetrical, and the large, red element in the center gives it a ceremonial character. The frame is adorned with fine embossing and geometric details.

Blue bead tassels with metal pendants adorn the sides of the panel, while the lower edge is filled with chains with conical brass elements. When moved, they work dynamically, creating a distinctive, multi-layered sound. This is a necklace that lives with the body, not remaining static.

The visible patina of the metal, the abrasions in the fabric at the top, and the natural variations in the glass setting confirm its handcrafted quality. This is a handcrafted product, without industrial repetition. The form is bold, almost theatrical, yet rooted in the nomadic aesthetic of the region.
