Kuchi Ruby Panel – a light talisman

The rectangular panel is made of light metal with a matte, slightly patinated surface. The entire piece is decorated with fine embossing, creating a rhythmic, geometric pattern. An oval stone in a deep ruby shade is set in the center, surrounded by smaller red glass beads that create an irregular, tribal composition.

The chain, composed of elongated, embossed links, gives the piece a lightness and flexibility. The panel sits comfortably on the chest, not weighing you down or forcing you into a rigid position. This piece of jewelry looks massive, but is actually comfortable to wear.

The red glass beads are not gemstones – they are colored glass characteristic of the jewelry of nomads from the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The intense color was intended to attract attention and symbolically protect against the "evil eye." Today, this detail serves primarily aesthetic purposes – strong, without subtlety.

Good condition for a utilitarian item. The visible patina and minor signs of age are natural and indicate real use. This is not a sterile replica, but an authentic handicraft with a distinct ethnic character.
