Alochi Tribal – Silver Amulet with Tassels

The central element is a rectangular panel made of a silver alloy with a distinct, hand-crafted texture. The front is filled with embedded glass in red, green, navy blue, and purple, arranged in a geometric composition around a dark, oval center. A border of small cabochons creates an almost hypnotic frame that attracts the eye from afar.

The lower edge is finished with a row of small rosettes and chains ending in distinctive, embossed diamond-shaped plates. Every movement produces a subtle jingle of the metal – this is not silent jewelry. Worn while dancing or during a celebration, it becomes part of the rhythm.

The sides of the panel connect to the chain via hand-formed, elongated links. The structure is stable, but not overly heavy. It shows the signs of time and a natural patina that has not been artificially smoothed. This is what gives it its authenticity – the absence of jewelry sterility, the presence of a craftsman's hand.

The form refers to the Alochi ornaments found among the Kuchi communities and neighboring regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. These panels served decorative, protective, and symbolic purposes. Today, they are a powerful, collectible accent – a far cry from contemporary, lightweight jewelry.
