Hazard Necklace Opera
Hazard Necklace Opera
The design is based on a wide, hand-woven brass chain, which creates a dense, almost textile-like structure. The density of the weave gives the necklace visual weight and a distinct presence on the silhouette. Numerous elongated pendants are placed between the links, creating rhythm and texture throughout the composition.
The upper section features subtle accents of red glass, set in metal frames. The color is saturated and contrasts with the muted, patinated brass surface. This combination is characteristic of Hazara jewelry – raw, expressive, and based on strong contrasts.
The focal point of the composition is a large medallion with an oval red glass in the center. From it radiate chains terminating in spherical elements that move with every step. The whole creates a dynamic, almost ceremonial structure that attracts attention from afar.
The long, opera-style format makes the necklace look best against a plain background – black, white, or raw fabrics. This is a statement piece, theatrical, building style rather than merely complementing it. An item for those seeking character rather than subtlety.
