Kuchi Turquoise Coin Belt

The design is more slender than wide ceremonial chokers, yet retains a characteristic nomadic rhythm. Small, turquoise beads are densely sewn onto a textile base, creating a tight, flexible line of color. The intense blue contrasts with the black of the twisted cord and the red thread accents.

The lower edge is decorated with a row of metal coins in sharp relief. They hang on simple brass holders, which give the piece a geometric order. When moved, the coins tinkle slightly, adding life and an authentic, nomadic character to the jewelry.

Small brass spacers are inserted between the bead segments, stabilizing the structure and visually organizing the composition. The entire piece is mounted on a thick, hand-twisted cord, allowing for adjustable length and wearing style. Natural signs of wear and the patina of the metal are visible.

This model is visually lighter than wide, heavy necklaces, making it more suitable for everyday styling while retaining its distinct, tribal character. This is authentic Kuchi jewelry, not a contemporary interpretation inspired by ethnic style.
