The pieces shown are circulating Pakistani rupees, recognizable by their crescent and star design, and the classic floral wreath surrounding the denomination. The relief is distinct, though worn in places – confirming the coins' actual circulation before being adapted for jewelry purposes. Each piece was reshaped by soldering a sleeve and embedding a glass in the center of the disc.

The glass is round, usually slightly convex or subtly faceted. The color is a deep blue – from intense cobalt to dark navy. In the faceted versions, light is reflected in points, creating distinct reflections, while in the smooth versions, the effect is more uniform and saturated. The mounts are made of golden-toned brass, contrasting with the coin's cool, silvery metal.

The surface shows natural patina, abrasions, and traces of hand soldering. Some pieces exhibit visible discoloration and slight tarnish at the joints – typical of older metal alloys. Each coin differs in the detail of the relief, the shade of the metal, and the intensity of the glass color.
