Sea glass oval coin

The base is a genuine coin with clear Arabic or Urdu calligraphy and floral motifs. The relief is worn in places but legible, and the edge retains slight serrations. A natural patina is visible on the surface, along with traces of overheating of the metal where the setting was installed.

The central element is an oval, translucent glass in shades of sea blue. The color ranges from intense turquoise to darker navy, with delicate streaks and tiny air bubbles within. The glass is not synthetically "perfect"—it has subtle imperfections that give it character.

The setting is made of a brass alloy. The frame around the glass is irregular, hand-formed, with visible traces of soldering and slight discoloration. The pendant's earring has a simple, grooved shape, typical of tribal adaptations of coins into jewelry.

These pendants were created as local reinterpretations of coins – combining the symbol of money with the function of an amulet. Each piece differs in the shade of the glass, the detail of the relief, and the degree of wear of the coin. The price is for one random pendant from the batch.
