Hazard Leaf Necklace

A Hazara necklace with an elongated form, constructed from densely interwoven chains and a central, openwork panel with red and green glass. The composition is symmetrical, but not austere – the metal is alive, with patina, traces of time, and subtle abrasions. This is not a contemporary styling, but an authentic item with real cultural weight.

The central medallion is made of brass in a shade of antique gold. The openwork interior gives it a lightness, while the embedded glass in intense red and green creates a contrast typical of jewelry from the regions of Afghanistan and northern Pakistan. The colors are not coincidental – in tribal tradition, they symbolized protection, strength, and prosperity.

Three-dimensional leaf-shaped pendants are placed along the entire length. Each pendant is embossed and delicately curved, allowing the jewelry to move with every movement. The sound of metal on metal is subtle yet present – this is jewelry that not only looks good but also resonates.

The shape is long, falling low on the chest. This is a ceremonial piece, not a minimalist addition to everyday styling. The rarity of this piece stems from its preserved completeness and its distinctive, rich construction with numerous pendants, which in many similar pieces are lost over time.
