Kashmir Coin Panel

The central, rectangular panel is made of brass and covered with dense, hand-engraved engraving. The central rosette motif is surrounded by symmetrical, softly drawn lines and floral ornaments. Colored glass in the red and blue colors typical of the region is set in the corners and edges. The composition is balanced, geometric, and at the same time clearly created by the hand of a craftsman, not a machine.

The lower edge of the panel is finished with pendants containing small coins that tint subtly when moved. This detail is not accidental – in jewelry from the border region of Afghanistan and Kashmir, monetary elements served both decorative and symbolic purposes, emphasizing the status and mobile nature of the owner's wealth.

The string is formed by large, dark beads with a floral motif and brass spacers with a clearly carved form. The contrast between the black glass and the warm shade of the metal creates depth and visual weight. The green, braided cord lends a rugged look to the design and allows for easy wearing.

The necklace shows natural signs of age – minor abrasions, patina, and minimal surface irregularities. These details confirm its authenticity and handmade origins. This is not a contemporary "Oriental" styling, but a real object with a history that has retained its original form and character.
