The pendant is based on a small coin from the South Asian region. Visible are stars, crescents, and inscriptions in the Arabic alphabet, some clearly visible, others worn away by time. The metal has a natural patina, dark discolorations, and traces of hand soldering, giving the piece a raw, non-industrial character.

The central stone is howlite, dyed a strong, saturated shade of red. Its structure displays characteristic, irregular veining in shades of graphite and black. The surface is not perfectly uniform – variations in saturation and small inclusions emphasize the material's mineral origin.

The teardrop shape introduces a softer line than the triangular versions, but the color remains strong and contrasting. The stone is set in a brass frame soldered directly to the coin. The pendant's earring is solid, double or grooved, with visible traces of handcrafting.
