The pendant is based on an original coin from the Middle East. Arabic inscriptions, stars, profiles of rulers, and floral motifs are visible. The metal surface retains its natural patina, abrasions, and traces of high soldering temperatures. The central element is howlite dyed an intense red. The stone is teardrop-shaped or oval, with distinct, dark veining crisscrossing the surface in irregular lines. The color is saturated, slightly muted by the mineral's matte structure, giving it depth.
