Coin with red howlite - triangle

The base is old coins from the Afghanistan and Pakistan regions – visible crescents, stars, mosques, plant wreaths, and inscriptions in the Arabic alphabet. The relief can be legible or partially worn, with a natural patina and local oxidation. The surface shows traces of soldering and darkening caused by handwork.

The central stone is howlite, dyed a deep, saturated shade of red. The structure features characteristic, irregular veining in shades of graphite and brown, giving the surface a stone-like appearance. This is not glass – the structure remains mineral, with a natural texture and subtle differences in color saturation.

The triangular cut gives the pendant a stronger, geometric character. The brass alloy frame is hand-soldered to the coin, showing visible traces of high temperature and irregularities typical of borderland craftsmanship. The pendant lugs are solid, sometimes with simple embossing or grooving.

The red of the howlite contrasts with the cool, darkened metal of the coin, creating a striking visual effect. Each piece differs in the detail of the relief and the veining of the stone. The price is for one random pendant from the presented lot.
