The photo shows authentic coins from Pakistan – recognizable by the crescent and star symbol and the inscription "Government of Pakistan." The denominations are classic rupees, a currency used in the region since the mid-20th century. The coins were repurposed into pendants by soldering a brass sleeve and embedding an oval, red glass disc in the center.

The coins have a compact diameter, with proportions typical of Pakistani circulating rupees. The metal has a characteristic silver-gray hue with a natural patina and signs of use. Hand-soldering marks and subtle discoloration are visible around the frames – greenish tarnish at the joints is typical of older metal alloys in contact with brass.

The red glass is set in an oval, golden frame. The color is deep, dark red, and semi-transparent – ​​light subtly penetrates the material, highlighting its structure. Each piece differs in detail: the shade of the metal, the degree of wear, and the precision of the glass setting. This is not a factory production, but rather a hand-made adaptation of coins to serve as jewelry.

Pendants of this type were used in tribal jewelry from the border regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan – in necklaces, tribal belts, elements of dance costumes, and as amulet details. The price is for one piece, selected randomly from the batch shown in the photo.
